The Trip to Park City that Didn't Happen

Last weekend we decided we could not take it any longer, we needed to escape the awful Utah inversion.  So we piled in the car and headed for higher elevation (in other words, FRESH air).  As we made our way up the mountain, we were ever so slightly distracted by the new Outlets at Traverse Mountain.  The plan was to quickly check them out and then continue on to Park City.

So that didn't happen.
We didn't get out of the city and we certainly didn't find fresh air,
but we did have a little father daughter bonding...
Some shopping at the store of my dreams...
...filled with inspiration for a colorful Le Creuset collection of my own someday (hopefully).
Okay, I'm drooling.  Over the pots.  Not the food pictured below...
Though dinner at Johnny Rockets was so much fun.
We also let the kids pick out a tee of their choice, which has never happened...
...and now you know why.
There was more deliciousness...
Followed by an incident with a poor unsuspecting creature I'd rather not go into right now...
Though our evening didn't go nearly as planned, we breathed colder-than-imaginable-toxic-air all night long, and I discovered my children are slightly obsessed with unmentionables...
It was a wonderful night.

  4. I love the pictures! You would never realize how fascinated kids are with unmentionables until they have access to a big bear in boxers, then they have a field day. LOL! But, it looks like despite the distraction from the fresh air, you still had a good time.

PS. You have a new follower! I also found you on the TGIF blog hop. Feel free to check out my blog too at www.9months18years.blogspot.com. Have a great day.
